    Canada - Patrick Cox - Design 'Mondrian' spring/summer 1995

Patrick Cox was born in Edmonton-Canada in 1963. He studied at the Cordwainer's College in London from 1983-1985. He designed lines of footwear for Vivienne Westwood, Body map, John Galliano, Dr. Marten and Charles Jourdan. In 1991 he opened his own store in London using de 'Fleur-de-Lis' as his logo. In 1993 he introduced his 'Wannabe' loafers. These are flat and stacked-heeled shoes of bulky, exaggerated proportions that appeal to both sexes and sold hundreds of thousands worldwide
